Subject: Stationery Contract – Banner (formerly Supplies Team)
Tameside MBC has participated in a stationery supplies contract led on behalf of AGMA authorities by Trafford MBC (RM781) with Banner (formerly Supplies Team) since 2013.
Due to a change of our incumbent stationery supplier within an organisation like ours, this had potential for problems during the period of transition; however, Banner provided clear guidance on how to make this as seamless as possible and the changeover was not noticed by our end users.
Banner have always since the beginning of the contract suggested own branded products (wherever possible) to assist us in reducing spend on basic office commodities, which in this current financial climate helps towards reducing overall spend on office supplies.
We have also worked together in implementing a minimum order value to avoid increased deliveries to our multiple site locations in order to keep our carbon footprint down and avoid potential increases to overall products cost due to frequent delivery.
Regular review meetings have been held with our Account Manager (Ian Dixon) who has provided detailed contract management information. Queries with regards to orders or invoices have always been promptly responded to and resolved, together with advice on suitability of certain products whenever necessary.
Overall Banner have been a reliable supplier for our office supplies needs and provided great support and advice when needed.
